Jackson Park Golf Lessons<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Private Lessons<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one-on-one atmosphere of private lessons creates the most intensive learning experience of any Jackson Park program. With proven methods and focused dedication, our instructors provide golfers of all skill levels the tools and opportunity for guaranteed learning success. As with all learning, the golf student acquires and retains instruction through repetition and reinforcement. Students should utilize half-hour lessons for swing tune-ups. One-hour lessons are appropriate for a new golfer getting started, for an experienced golfer ready to make major swing changes or anyone who required additional time for an equipment or physical assessment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For new golfers getting started, there are a few options to consider.<\/strong> First ask yourself this; do I prefer a group, a regular class or a private lesson? Here are a few suggestions… 1) Start with a one-hour private lesson – get a feel for the swing and the instructor before you make a decision about the next step, 2) Clear you want to start playing golf – start with a one-hour private lesson and purchase a package of half-hour lessons. The package keeps you committed to learning, and you set your own schedule with the instructor.  A package of lessons for a new golfer will cover the basic fundamentals in putting, chipping, pitching\/approach shots and full swing, 3) Register for the Get Golf Ready (GGR) class – this repeats every five weeks. The GGR class meets weekly at a specific time and has a limited number of students each session. OR 4) Customize your group – we use the same GGR curriculum, but you set the day & time for your group. Learning with a friend is semi-private and learning with a group of 3-8 is a group\/corporate lesson. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Golf Rehab:<\/strong>

Golf Rehab is a medically directed golf instruction program with Patty Curtiss, Director of Instruction at Jackson Park. This private lesson starts with a one-hour session to assess pain, injury, post-surgical needs relative to the golf swing. Coaching Track:<\/strong>

The coaching track is for students who would like coaching that goes beyond a traditional golf lesson. The program starts with an initial 30-minute consultation where level of fitness, physical limitations, equipment and areas in need of improvement are discussed. Once the goals are determined, a practice plan and lesson schedule are established. On-course Instruction: <\/strong>

Take your lessons to the course with any of our instructors. This private one-hour lesson includes instruction on recovery shots, uneven lies, pre-shot routines, reading greens, club selection and other areas as needed. Instruction curriculum can be custom tailored for a specific group\u2019s needs. Lesson times can be easily planned around the group\u2019s schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To cancel a lesson, go to “book a lesson” above, log into your uschedule account and cancel the lesson. You can also phone the lesson center at 206-428-3554 to cancel a lesson or notify your instructor you will be late. NO SHOWS create a hardship for instructors, so please always cancel. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
